Sideway Puffins

I have tried all morning to turn the puffins around right side up but to no avail. Anyway, here is the puffin rug I made up for my mother to try out. But first, we will go to Costco this morning. Or as I call it, the $300.00 store.

Weather has been just beautiful so far and let's hope it continues on until, January? No such luck but we take what we can get.

Reservations all made for the return trip early next week and Mom has decided to come along for a bit of a vacation before the snow flies!

  1. Julie,
I'm so glad to have met through blogging also! It's comforting knowing others understand who are living with same circumstances. It makes my heart glad that your Mom is coming home with you for a visit! You might find this interesting: I have been thinking of teaching my Mom to rug hook after she gets through this heart and cataract surgery. Stay safe and enjoy the best of times there! Cathy

  2. Hi Julie,
Its great you get to extend your visit with your Mom.
Regarding the sideways photo - I have had this problem before also. I have re-cropped it, just changes the dimensions a bit and when I uploaded the 2nd try it was fine. I know it doesn't make alot of sense, but try it - it seems to do the trick.

  3. Lol, the $300 store. On my way there today, too. Hope the weather stays under 100 and I stay under $300. Thanks for making me laugh!

  4. Glad that you are enjoying your trip Julie and that your mom is joining on the return journey.

LOL Costco is evil that way. You walk in and your money disappears and you walk out with 6 items!
I am a avid shopper. I love it, so spending a few hundred dollars in an afternoon is very easy for me too do.

I have not tried rug hooking yet. I have started crocheting my Christmas gifts. I am planning on trying my hand at it next year.

    Thanks for reading my blog!
