Back on Track!

Well, some time has passed since I last posted. But, here I am again, back on track. All went well for P's surgery and now, a slow, road to recovery. I haven't had a chance to do much on either of my rug hooking projects, but here is the smaller project, the table mat.

The weather is great and I have tulips and crocus coming up out of the cold earth. Pretty soon it will be time, to take off the winter coat in the garden and put on her spring coat!

  1. Nice to have you back. Good news about P's surgery. Love your new blog background too - very cottage chic! Its funny when someone doesn't post for awhile, you start to worry that something is wrong.
    Happy Spring!

  3. Julie,
So glad to hear P's surgery went well. Recovery takes time but all of a sudden you see improvement. Each day holds it's own discoveries about how marvelous the human body is made to be able to go through these things! I will be holding you both in thought and prayers. Healing energies are sent your way today! xxoo Cathy G

  4. Hi Julie,
I began to be concerned about you as well..Happy to know things worked out for P.
My brother had quadruple bypass surgery and it was touch and go for a while; however, yesterday we received good news that he is improving...Prayer does work.

I love this pattern you are doing...

  5. Congrats on a great repair job!! And here's to a speedy recovery. I'm sure as the nice weather arrives, so will P's boisterous self.

Great little mat you've got started too. So cheery and uplifting - just like spring.
