I think this is our coldest day of the year at minus 16.  Many parts of Canada are much colder but on the west coast of Newfoundland, we don't get as cold as some people think.

As I type out this post, my garden is hidden from sight by several feet of snow and only my 5 foot inukshuk is visible.

What better day to stay by the wood stove and warm my aching bones while thinking of spring.  Here's what is on my frame!

  1. It's bitterly cold here today too. That windchill just goes right though you. Sounds like a good day to stay in and hook. Great new Spring pattern Julie.

  2. Dear Julie
We have got the snow right across the UK now - not as much as you, but more than enough to cause havoc! I like the look of your latest project - keep us posted on your progress.
    Best wishes

  3. We have had it COLD here, too, Julie...As long as we can stay warm, we will be ok..thinking of those who are less fortunate.

Love your newest creation...will wait for more photos...

    Take care...

  4. Can't wait to see more progress on your bunny...
