No where else in Canada, is St. Patrick's Day so revered, than right here in Newfoundland. At one time, more than 90% of the island, could trace their roots back to the emerald isle. Some to orange and some to green.
It is freezing this morning and we awoke to minus 20 degrees. But usually, St. Patrick's Day, it snows or rains, but not this year. Also, looking good to not have Shelagh's Brush this year. A storm just before or just after St. Patrick's Day.
A tip of the hat to all the Irish wherever you may be!
