New Project!
There are two incredible artists, Cara and Pam who live on the East Coast of NL. I have been following their wonderful blog for sometime and I really love their whimisical approach to art with a NL theme.
I just received permission from Cara to adapt "Aunt Bertie's Daisy Garden into a monster size rug hooking project. I am working on the pattern and going to use an interesting border with dragon flies, lady bugs and butterflies around it.
If you get a chance, have a look at the Grumpy Goat Blog and the fabulous art work as well as a good laugh at Cara's postings!

ReplyDeleteJulie,
ReplyDeleteWhat a great design! And how wonderful that you are taking on a huge rug!
Can't wait to see how you draw it up! I will go take a look at her blog!
Thanks for the link!

Love this project!
ReplyDeleteHello Julie
ReplyDeleteI love the image here - it will make a great rug. I could see the daisies working well as a felting project too. I really enjoy reading your blog and following your projects.
I haven't managed to do any felting for quite a while - I really must get on and do some. (My garden seems to be taking up most of my time at the moment.)
I hope that weather is now better over there and that you are managing to enjoy some summer.
This will be a great rug! I would love to visit your little corner of the world. I've been checking in to the Grumpy Goat for a while and it always makes me smile.
