Well, the beginning of summer has been beautiful but busy. I have three small mats to finish and of course, the larger one which is a fall/winter project. This little puffin turned out very well in my own humble opinion.
This pattern is a small one I designed for my mother but she found it hard on her shoulders, so I finished it. I used primarily wool yarns and some acrylic yarn.
Mats two and three are next!
So cute. He turned out great. Can't wait to see mats 2 and 3.
ReplyDeleteI love your design Julie! Lots of movement in a small piece and done very nicely! Can't wait to see your new ones!

This was hooked with yarn, not wool?
ReplyDeleteYes, Jacque, all yarn not wool strips. I find it a much suitable fibre for hooking. Many hookers in NL use tshirt material, yarn and even, nylon stockings to make their rugs. Give yarn a try!
